2008 NAACP Theatre Awards to Launch Festival

This year the contributions and accomplishments of African-American actors to the theatre arts are being recognized and celebrated like never before. The Beverly Hills/Hollywood chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will celebrate its first Theatre Awards Festival Weekend June 27-29 in conjunction with the 18th annual NAACP Theatre Awards, which will be held June 30 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.
