Hotter Than July

How hot was it in DC today? Hotter than a Master Blaster! HotterThanJuly!

I heard at one point 96 degrees but it felt like a sweltering 106! And more heat expected here for the next several days.

The key is to drink plenty of H2O and to Stay Cool! Cool, light clothing, Cool thoughts, Cool words to one another, Hopefully, a Cool house to come home to in the evening and hopefully a Cool working environment too. Take your time. Go slow. Do a little less outdoor work if you can while you're out. Hit the pool! Exercise in the early morning hours as opposed to the hot afternoon or evening. In the words of Sam Jackson in Do The Right Thing, "Everybody Chill Out!"

Stevie Wonder's album Hotter Than July? When I first saw this album cover, it inspired me to draw even more than I liked to draw. I tried to draw this cover many times when I was a kid. Some came out good, some not so good! LOL! But I thought it was just an incredible album cover and album overall.
