I read this Rolling Stone National Affairs article last night.
Twice.
The second time I read it aloud to myself to help fully grasp it all and to let it really sink in. Will read it again today because there is just so much. Not so much because any of the information is new information, but because of all the details and twists and turns. It's a lot to follow. A very interesting article.
The Charts and Graphs Rolling Stone did to accompany this article called "A Brief History of Bush's Flameout" is something else indeed. A great recap and visual, including all the times a "Terror Alert" has been issued under The Bush Administration in these last 8 years. You have to see it to believe it and you soon remember including the scenarios before and after each one.
Subtitle: "A look back at the highlights and low points of "the longest sustained period of public disapproval" in the history of the American presidency."
The charts and graphs section looks like a roller coaster ride that started off somewhere in the middle in 2000, reached it's highest point in September 2001, and has been on a gradual downhill bumpy ride since then with occasional minimal peaks.
A very good recap of the 8 years of President George W. Bush.
