I first heard the sampler for this album in 2007 and was blown away by the creativity of the lyrics and production. Also Robyn's distinctive voice, her singing, phrasing and pacing. This album sounds like a lost gem from the 80s. It's just that good. I could go on about it for days but I will leave it at this - buy this album. It does not dissapoint. I've had it on repeat in my player for weeks now. It's an amazing piece of work. If you are a fan of Gwen Stefani, Madonna circa 80s, Prince, and even a bit of Jamaican Dancehall, you will love this album. Every track offers up something new and creative yet familiar to what was best about the 80s with a little something from the here and now and future added in too. It has to be one of the coolest, hippest albums of the year. Caution to Parents: Parental Advisory Explicit Content. I am looking forward to checking out Robyn live with her DJ and her band behind her.
