Angie Goff joined the 9NEWS NOW news team in November of 2007 as the station's morning traffic reporter. A graduate of George Mason University in Fairfax (and a self-professed "GMU Patriot" fan), Angie was born in Korea but spent her formative years growing up in Northern Virginia, graduating from Herndon High School.

Most recently, she was an anchor and reporter for WIS-TV in Columbia, South Carolina since 2004. She won an Emmy in 2005 as part of a team that won "Best Newscast" at WIS. Her contribution to that award was a story that highlighted a dangerous intersection in a small town after four people died in a crash. Before her job at WIS, she worked as a top production assistant for the syndicated program "Entertainment Tonight." In 2001, Angie completed an internship in the news department for W*USA9 during her time at GMU. She is also a member of the Asian-American Journalists Association.

Angie has long been an advocate for mental health issues, and has been active in hosting and organizing related events to raise awareness. She is a U.S. history buff and Korean food fan, and is elated to be back in the Washington DC area, accompanied by her beloved Labrador Retriever Atticus.
