And now for the totally un-scientific poll results of my totally un-scientific poll question for the month of January 2008, "What should the name of Prince's next album be in 2008?"
Here are the results:
1st Place - (45%) - "Prince - 5.0" (in celebration of his 50th Birthday on June 7th, 2008)
2nd Place - (35%) - "Prince - The Earth Tour - 21 London Nights at The O2" (multi-disc box set with U.K. concert DVD included)
3rd Place - (15%) - "Prince - 08.08.08" (start date of Summer Olympics, also it will only be this date once in this millenium)
4th Place - (5%) - "Prince - 1 World" (a tie-in concept album with The Summer Olympics "Beijing 2008, One World, One Theme" mixed with Minneapolis Soul, Ballads & Funk)
Interesting! It seems most folks are thinking along the same lines I was thinking, which is maybe Prince will do something to celebrate his Big 50 Birthday on June 7th, 2008. And also I think we would all like to see what we missed from his Earth Tour in The U.K.
