I heard Donnie Simpson on PGC mention this morning during his show that while he was growing up in Detroit, one Old Time Radio Christmas Radio classic he remembered during the holidays was something called "The Littlest Christmas Tree" by comedian, radio and television star, Red Skelton. Donnie aired it during his show and I have to admit that though I had heard of Red Skelton through my parents and grandparents, I could not remember this particular skit. So, as a fan of Old Time Radio myself, hearing it was a treat.

This lead to me looking it up on the net to see what I could find out about it and als0 more on Red Skelton. As Donnie said, it is a rare find and people have been looking for the original 33" LP for over 30 years. I found a wav file someone posted in 2005 and a video as well someone compiled on YouTube.
