TV One Presents Heartland Presidential Forum: Community Values in Action Moderated By Cathy Hughes - Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. (EST)

Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. (EST)
TV One is proud to present a live, unscripted Webcast of the historic Heartland Presidential Forum: Community Values in Action featuring five democratic presidential candidates and TV One and Radio One Chairwoman Cathy Hughes, who will serve as moderator of the event.

As the all important Iowa Caucuses draw near, Senators Barack Obama (D-IL), Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and Chris Dodd (D-CT), along with Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) and former North Carolina Senator John Edwards will focus in on America's heartland.

Unlike other presidential forums, this unique event will allow everyday people from across the nation to address the candidates head on about the issues they deem important to their community.

Each candidate will receive one framing question around the idea of community values and will then be asked to respond to two to three questions from families directly affected by housing, agriculture, immigration, low-wage employment, healthcare and clean elections, a new form of campaign finance reform.

Join long-time community activist Cathy Hughes by watching the live Webcast of this historic event exclusively on www.tvoneonline.com. The Webcast begins Saturday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. (EST), 2 p.m. (CST).

The Heartland Presidential Forum: Community Values in Action is co-sponsored by the Center for Community Change, www.iowaheartlandforum.org.
