Nicky Barnes Mr. Untouchable

I had planned to see this documentary last weekend but got wrapped up with other activities I needed to do so I ended up seeing it the day after I saw American Gangster and I am glad I did.

This documentary on Nicky Barnes was actually more interesting and informative than the film American Gangster to me. I would suggest seeing it either before one sees American Gangster or after as it provides more factual information for the real history buffs out here that just want to know the facts.

BET is currently into it's 2nd Season of American Gangster and they featured Frank Lucas in one of its recent episodes but I would like to see his story get a full documentary like this in the near future to help connect the dots and so his side of the story can be told too in this fashion.
