Remember when Oprah a while back did her Oprah's Pop Star Challenge? (See oprah.com/2004popstar). One of the three Finalists was a young brotha from Chicago by way of Milwaukee named Lorenzo Owens.
He signed a six-album record deal with D Town Records and his new album 'After The Show' came out on September 13th, 2005.
He describes his music as rooted in R&B but with all his vibes mixed in it and other influences.
