Japan seeks to boost manga comic industry

Manga, the uniquely Japanese comic books popular around the world, are facing declining sales as more people turn to mobile phones and other digital content for entertainment.

The government is hoping that a new wave of comic book culture might lead to half a million new jobs in the coming years.
