Cable TV Vibes: The Premiere of The Truth With Jeff Johnson Friday at 11 p.m. (ET/PT) on BET

I am interested to see what issues this program covers and how they will cover them. I am also interested to see if this program will address the very programming content of BET itself!

*Update - I saw this show. Not bad but too short. BET needs to make this show an hour. It felt rushed. Maybe if more people watch it, they will extend it to the full 60 minutes. In the TV biz, a half hour show is actually 23 minutes (not including commercials) and an hour show is actually around 46 minutes (not including commercials).

The topics were good and timely but it definitely takes more time to go into each one than 5 or 6 minute segments to do the topics justice, especially when you have a panel of 3 to 4 people for each topic. BET needs to extend it to an hour to really "let it breath" and make sure each issue is discussed well.

I will email BET and let them know that myself. If enough people do the same, I think they will pay attention and extend it to the full hour. Was the show interesting and on point enough to make me tune in again? Yes.
Peace!
