AURN White House Correspondent & Washington Bureau Chief April Ryan's Post on Hurricane Katrina - 2005 to 2008 - A View From The Bridge

A great post today on April Ryan's blog. Once again, April Ryan stays on point!

August 29th, 2008 marks the 3rd Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the costliest and one of the five deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States.

Today on her blog, 'Fabric of America,' American Urban Radio Network White House Correspondent & Washington Bureau Chief April Ryan posts on the upcoming 3 Year Anniversary, President Bush's recent trip this week to visit the Gulf Coast, and poses some very timely questions on what do we think of the progress (or lack thereof) of The Gulf Coast since the Hurricane Katrina disaster in 2005.

A very timely reminder of what has been done, what has not been done and why not, and where do we go from here. A view from the bridge 3 years later. As the old saying goes, "Hindsight is 20/20."

Also, Ms. Ryan has posted the original transcript of her Interview of First Lady Laura Bush Aboard Mrs. Bush’s Plane from September 8th, 2005.

Check it out on April Ryan's Fabric of America Blog aprilryan.com and share your comments, insights, opinions, thoughts, and questions.
