Washington City Paper Cover Story - What Happened To Our Show? For Four Seasons The Wire Reinvented The Crime Drama. Now The Viewer's The Victim. By Mark Athitakis

*I don't watch every episode of The Wire on HBO but I have seen several episodes over the years of this show. Even though it is filmed in Baltimore, it reminds me of D.C. very much.

I happened to catch Sunday's episode. The quote that stayed with me from Sunday's episode was when Proposition Joe said in reference to Marlo, "Outta respect for that mans skill set I'm going to take myself out the line up". I wonder if the writers of that show came up with that clever line or the actor himself. That was a good line.
