So I was up late Saturday Night flipping channels on TV, I get to Channel 50 (now known as CW) and what did I find? A classic episode of Soul Train featuring Evelyn "Champagne" King, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five. I caught it exactly at the beginnning so I threw in a blank tape!
In a micro-second, I thought to myself, "Am I having a waking dream?!" No, it was not a dream! I am very happy to report to all of you, my LT's Jazzy Radio Loft & Lounge Readers, that classic episodes of Soul Train are now back on TV!
According to CW's program guide, they started showing these last weekend on 02.11.07. See CWDC for more.

As you see, it comes on from 2:00am to 3:00am, late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, (Yeah, around the time folks are just getting home from the clubs. lol!), So it may be a VCR and TIVO Alert situation if you can't manage to stay up til 2am!
Spread the word, call the station and email in to let CW Washington know the core audience for Classic Soul Train is Alive and Kickin and appreciates it and wants them to keep on showin more!
