GRAMMY Awards In Memorandum Tribute List

This is a moment of the Grammy Awards each year that I always look forward to because it is always so touching and makes us all slow down and realize all over again all the great people that made the transition each year. Some of these folks I covered here in LT's Jazzy Radio Loft & Lounge but some I did not, even in my year end list of artists, musicians, writers, composers, producers, etc. that died in 2006. Speaking of Anita O'Day there is a great group on Yahoo called Billie Holiday And The Disciples Of Swing. The group features audio files of classic Jazz Vocalists. This past month they have been celebrating Girl Singer's Month and this weeks playlist includes several unreleased track's by Anita. Here is the link to the group and the current playlist.
