Scion CD Sampler v.14 Mixed By DJ Monk One In Collab With Wax Poetics - Nice!

I was given this CD at The 65th staging of D.C.'s annual winter automotive showcase, The 2007 Washington Auto Show this weekend by the good folks at Scion. I think they had one of the best displays at the auto show as far as promotions, creativity, good ideas etc. The auto show overall was good as usual. It seems every year they try or add something different and new and with the show now being in late January instead of its usual Holidays timeslot, and being in the New D.C. Convention Center is a definite plus though I got used to seeing this show over the Holidays since I was a kid.

I will post some of the pictures I took on my vehicles blog: ltscoolvehicles soon. As usual, the new year's cars, the concept and futuristic cars were off the hook, we even saw some 2008's, but I think the muscle cars from the 70's display is one I look forward to the most!

Back to the Scion Mix CD. The CD is very good. It's 24 continuous tracks of smooth mixes by some great DJ's. You can pop this in your car and just groove. It's Jazzy, Funky, Smooth and Cool. Kudos to the folks at Scion. They did a good job on this promotion. If the Auto Show comes to your city next and you love cool mix CDs like me, I suggest swinging by the Scion Exhibit!
