September 20th, 1984 - The Cosby Show, starring Bill Cosby, Phylicia Rashad, Sabrina Le Beauf, Lisa Bonet, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Tempestt Bledsoe and Keshia Knight Pulliam premieres on NBC. The series, which had been rejected by other network television executives, became one of the most popular in television history, and helped launch the careers of members of the cast and many talented actors.
The Cosby Show won six Emmys, three Golden Globes, five NAACP Image Awards, and a Peabody Award. The Cosby Show also had a Who's-Who List of Guest Stars each week. So many memorable moments over those 8 seasons.
